Picasso's Guernica

Post by ginnerminny on Wed Oct 08, 2008 12:13 pm

For me, 'Guernica' is one of the most striking images of war I have ever seen.
It seems to capture the essence and the mood of total conflict, using chilling colours and extreme expression.
It's an icon of a land destroyed by war that became lodged in my mind and remained there for months after the first viewing.
