The Christian Cross

The Cross is just a simple shape; however it is clearly recognised as the most commonly known symbol of Christianity, seen as a representation of the crucifixion of Jesus. Religious symbols are perhaps the most recognisable images to us, even if we are not religious ourselves. Every religion or cult following has a symbol or icon, this seems like a traditional and crucial factor which is supported so members can identify with other members of their following or religion.
