Rucksack on the tube

This isn't a particularly famous image. I just think that this image could be looked upon as being completely normal and harmless, if we lived in a world without terrorist attacks. The simple denotation of this image is man on tube train with rucksack, but the conotations are endless. This man may be just on his way home with a college bag..or is he planning to detonate a bomb on the tube which is concealed within the bag?

That really is an icon of our time, never has somthing as banal as a rucksack seemed so intimidating

Looking at the image before the caption I saw this as totally harmless. I guess I'm just not that suspiscous. Terrorism attacks aren't numerous enough for me to be affected so much.
